Both CS9000 custom and low-cost BSA products have solved many challenging RF signal problems.

The CS9000 product line is customized to each customer’s needs. This product can be configured with one or more analyzer/record channels and one or more signal generator channels with bandwidths up to 400 MHz and RF upper limits ranging from 3–18 GHz.

The low-cost product line uses a CS9000 analyzer/record channel preconfigured with the most popular options. As they use the same components as in the CS9000, the quality is the same.

Broadband Signal Analyzers (BSA)

The CS9000 and low-cost BSAs monitor, record, and analyze RF signals and signal environments. The input RF signal is down converted to baseband and digitized into very deep RAM of up to 32 GB. The data in RAM can be stored to disk for later analysis or for playback with an Aeroflex Broadband Signal Generator. BSA analysis software allows the operator a multidimensional view of the data, including time domain, spectrum/spectragram and modulation domain. Since complex signal interactions can easily be understood, BSA software excels at debugging unexpected signal problems for communications, radar, and EW applications.


Broadband Signal Generator (BSG)

The BSG generates a very wide range of RF signals, including playing back those recorded by the BSA. The system reads signals from disk into deep system RAM, plays them with a digital to analog converter, and up converts the signal to the desired RF. The Aeroflex vector signal simulator software is excellent at generating both simple and advanced waveforms.All signals can be frequency hopped.
